Kenosha Rising – Kenosha Creative Economy Strategic Plan
In April 2016, the Bolz Center for Arts Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison began a collaboration with the City of Kenosha Commission on the Arts to produce the Kenosha Creative Economy Strategic Plan, building on eight years of prior work around the development of Kenosha’s creative economy.
Contained within the plan are four primary initiatives that outline action items that will transform and redefine Kenosha as an increasingly creative, thriving and innovative place to be.
Here’s a look at the four initiatives:
- Objective 1: Business Partnerships & Philanthropy
- Objective 2: Community Marketing
- Objective 3: Neighborhood Revitalization Through the Arts
- Objective 4: Downtown revitalization & entrepreneurship
